ON THAT DAY,report to basketball court in PE ATTIRE and/or running shoes. if wet weather,conducted in hall. divided into groups according to index nos. first person of the group is TEAM LEADER.must LEAD HER GROUP TO REPORT TO THE TESTER OF EACH STATION.proceed as a group. the groups divided into- 1-7 ( first station sit up) 8-14( first station standing broad jump) 15-21 (first station sit and reach) 22-28 ( first station inclined pull up) 29-33 (first station shuttle run) just keep going in this order. if you fail any stations,must CONTINUE with test and AFTER finishing the remaining stations, then can do the failed item again. 2.4KM IS ON 6 MAY.during pe. On the day of the race, CHECK THE NOTICE BOARD OUTSIDE PE DEPT FOR ALLOCATED LANES. MUST. On heats or finals, WEAR SCHOOL PE. AND ALL MUST WEAR SHOES. AND MUST HAVE YOUR NUMBER TAG PINNED ON YOUR SHIRT. REPORTING Report 20 minutes BEFORE start of race. Competition tops tucked into competition bottoms. For field events, report to the official at the venue of the respective events. If you take part in 2 events that occur at same time, REPORT for BOTH. go for TRACK EVENT FIRST.THEN FIELD EVENT. CRITERIA OF QUALIFICATION a) TRACK EVENTS All races up to and including hurdles and relays MUST use CROUCH START. First false start, you are warned. SECOND false start by ANY competitor,DISQUALIFIED. For 80m and 8x50m, FASTEST 8 shall ENTER FINALS. b) FIELD EVENTS Except high jump, when there are more than 8 competitors, each competitor shall be allowed 2 trials, and the 8 competitors with the best performances shall be allowed 4 additional trials. All 6 trials count for finals placing. If have less than 8 competitors, each competitor allowed 6 trials. IN GENERAL, If have undesirable behavior, DISQUALIFIED and NOT ABLE to participate in other events. Non competitors WALK AROUND THE TRACK. DO NOT CUT ACROSS TRACK ON THE FIELD. SHOES COMPULSORY. spike shoes with spike nails NO LONGER than 9mm allowed in ARENA ONLY. PROTESTS Any protests by a competitor or team against the CONDUCT, ELIGIBILITY or PLACING of another competitor or team shall be made to MEET MANAGER within 30min after COMPLETION of the event. RESULTS OF HEATS, SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS Put up on notice board outside pe dept DAY AFTER race has been run. SCORING points awarded for 1st 8 places in FINALS of INDIVIDUAL events and INTER CLASS RELAY. 1st- 9pts 2nd- 7pts 3rd- 6pts and so on.. All participating athletes will be given 1 POINT added towards inter-class participative points. All STUDENT OFFICIALS also give 1,2 or 3 points according to serving 1,2 or 3 days. will contribute towards inter-class official points. ATHLETES AND STUDENT OFFICIALS awarded CCA POINTS.1 point. RESERVES FOR EVENTS NO POINTS NOR TROPHIES. PRIZES Awarded to 1st,2nd and 3rd for every event. 1 INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGE TROPHY awarded to top 1st and 2nd competitors of each division taking into account ALL individual events. To get that 1 TROPHY IN THE WHOLE COHORT, must either BREAK MEET RECORD or have MOST NUMBER OF GOLD MEDALS if not record broken. in case of a tie, NUMBER OF SILVER OR BRONZE MEDALS WON. All the points mentioned will be totaled up. Inter-class champion trophy awarded to class with the highest points. ONLY 1 TROPHY. ENTRY FORM SUBMISSION PROCEDURE MUST submit class participation in the events together with PERSONAL BEST TIME.via LMS by next fri,3 april. *I WILL SUBMIT.ON WEDNESDAY.* The compulsory events each class MUST have 1-2 pupils. and 8x50m team. Each relay team must have 2 RESERVES. reserves no points nor medals. ALL TRACK EVENTS must be accompanied by PERSONAL BEST TIMINGS. aid in allocation of lanes. EACH CLASS must have 2 STUDENT OFFICIALS or 4 STUDENT OFFICIALS. if have 2, each must go 2 sessions. if have 4,each just go one. THE EVENTS TRACK-- COMPULSORY= 80m, 800m. OPTIONAL= 150m, 80m hurdles. JUMPS-- COMPULSORY= long jump. OPTIONAL= high jump. THROWS-- COMPULSORY= javelin. OPTIONAL= discus,short put. RELAYS-- COMPULSORY= 8x50m. *ps.for HURDLES, the hurdle is 70cm tall. HIGHER THAN PE OKAY.MUCH. *ps.for HIGH JUMP, starting height is 1.15m.increase by 5cm until 1.25m then increase by 3cm. *ps.for SHORTPUT. ball is 2.72kg.(okay lah) DISCUS is 1kg. JAVELIN is 600gm. MOST IMPORTANT PART If you want to take part in the RUNS, please go to a PUBLIC TRACK WITH MARKINGS. and use a STOP WATCH to time.ask someone to help you. BE HONEST, as the timings will be SUBMITTED TO THE PE TEACHERS and if they find you run slower,YOU'RE DEAD. DO NOT CHEAT YOURSELF. and PLEASE choose the BEST timing. ITS A MUST TO SUBMIT YOUR TIMINGS FOR 2009. if not,you cant take part. GET THIS READY BY MONDAY.
